Historically, traditional addiction treatment programs have looked much like cookie-cutter options. The patients comes in, talks to therapists for 30 days, and leaves. For some people, that's enough. What we don't like about exclusively using this approach is the results have been historically unsuccessful.
There was a time about 20 years ago when the effectiveness rate of traditional treatment was about 25% for first-time patients. In recent years, that number has gotten closer to 50%, but that is not enough in our opinion, and we believe we can change that.
